“We recognized WAN connectivity as a strategic area for optimization,” St. Romain explained. “Our goal was to reduce data center costs while enhancing agility.”

Facing this critical internet outage, ivision needed a fast, scalable solution to modernize their connectivity strategy and maintain service continuity. PlatformDIGITAL serves as a secure, scalable meeting place for data, designed to support AI-ready infrastructure and deliver on-demand connectivity through integrated services like ServiceFabric®. As part of their colocation deployment, ivision established a ServiceFabric port to extend connectivity to Lumen NaaS. This software-defined interconnection layer enabled secure, direct access within Digital Realty’s global footprint and to third-party data centers and cloud providers. This expanded ivision’s network reach and improved resilience for critical workloads.

The impact of the Lumen solution was immediate. During the 55 TB replication event, ivision provisioned a new circuit within minutes, restoring customer operations in just 40 minutes. Over the next nine months, the platform required minimal oversight, freeing ivision’s team to focus on innovation.

“The portal has made provisioning extremely easy,” St. Romain said. “The available options are clear, and support is readily available.”
